Joetsu Kokusai Ski Resort boasts one of the biggest pistes in Japan, with 22 courses spreading through 10,000,000 ㎡ of land, where you can enjoy dynamic riding. There are several unique slopes for beginners to experienced skiers and snowboarders.

The resort has 31 varied courses laid out on the natural terrain of 2,360,000㎡. The top of the resort is connected to the neighbouring GALA Yuzawa and Yuzawa Kogen resorts, making for an extremely large area that will take you a few days to fully explore!

The resort offers a wide range of ski slopes and facilities for all ranges
and abilities of skiers and snowboarders. "Korakuen Gelende",
"Nagamine Valley" with its 6km course and "Okuzoechi Bowl"
at the top of the mountain with good quality snow and magnificent panorama
are for everyone to enjoy.

Hakkaisan Ski Resort is well known for its 3km downhill course. It only
takes five minutes by 81-passenger ropeway to the moutain top. The resort
offers a wider range of ski slopes for all ranges and abilities of skiers
and snowboarders. The beginners can also enjoy rides from the mountain
top down the 5.5km "Raku Raku Course".

The resort is famous for its abundance of snow and 3km downhill course. The steepest slope, "Eagle course" is 33 degrees and is suitable for experienced riders. Beginners can take "Bluebird course" into "Canary course".

This resort is for "Skiers only"! Itukamachi resort is well known
for its high service standards and customer satisfaction, and is suitable
for a family outing. There are 8 courses to suit first-timers to experts,
with pole set course for race training. (Free, resevation needed) The resort
also runs ski and kids schools officially recognised by SAJ.(Ski Association
of Japan)

The management has been taken over by the city from 2005. It is a well
loved resort by the locals. There is an open space at the base, where beginners
and children can enjoy skiing and play safely. The resort offers a wide
range of ski slopes and there are advanced courses near the moutain top
to satisfy more experienced riders.
